Biography
William is a Certified Canadian Immigration Consultant and a member in good standing of the Immigration Consultants of Canada Regulatory Council (ICCRC).
Prior to joining Bull, Housser & Tupper in October 1989, William Kafal was employed for over 13 years by Citizenship and Immigration Canada where he held the position of Senior Immigration Officer.
Prior to joining Bull Housser, William Kafal worked at various immigration offices as an Immigration Examination Officer, Inland Immigration Counsellor, Supervisor of Immigration Counsellors, Program Specialist and Case Presenting Officer. He has extensive experience in all matters relating to immigration, advises clients on immigration procedure and practice and assists the other members of the firm.
The majority of William’s clients are business immigrants and independent skilled workers seeking permanent residence in Canada. His other main responsibilities include assisting the firm's corporate clients in a number of immigration related matters. He also assists clients in Canada in matters relating to family sponsorships, study and work permits, visitor extensions, permanent resident card applications, intra-company transferee requests, labour market opinions from Service Canada and Canadian citizenship applications.
William is highly experienced and adept at assisting clients in interpreting the entry requirements into Canada under the North America Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), the General Agreement on Trade in Services (GATS) and the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (PNP).
